As you are aware, the launch of the change to the GUS system on Friday, September 1, 2000 resulted in edit problems for our member firms. As a result, we backed out of this change the following day. We have identified the source of the problem and are working on a new implementation plan. We will send out an information update notice when we determine a new date.

As you know, this change would restrict price edits detected in our trade editing process from passing through to GUS, until the price edit is corrected.
